Public Interest Reporting

The Kiribati Audit Office provides this reporting channel for members of the public and other stakeholders to raise concerns about the use or management of public resources that may warrant audit attention.

Reports may be submitted without providing your name or contact details. If you choose to provide contact information, it may be used by the Kiribati Audit Office to seek further information about the matter.

Before You Submit

This reporting channel is intended for information that may relate to suspected misuse or improper management of public resources, serious financial irregularities, fraud, corruption, significant non-compliance, or other matters that may warrant the attention of the Kiribati Audit Office.

Please provide information that is as clear, factual and specific as possible. Where available, include relevant dates, organisations or public entities involved, what occurred, and any supporting information that may help the Kiribati Audit Office understand the matter.

You may choose whether or not to provide your name and contact details when submitting a report. Please avoid including personal or sensitive information that is not necessary to explain the matter.

Information submitted through this channel will be reviewed to determine whether the matter falls within the mandate of the Kiribati Audit Office and whether further consideration is appropriate.

Submitting information does not necessarily mean that an audit or investigation will be undertaken.

Privacy and Contact Details

The reporting form does not record your IP address as part of the Webform submission. However, normal website and hosting infrastructure may maintain technical access logs.

Provide a short title that summarises the matter you are reporting.
Enter the name of the government ministry, department, state-owned enterprise, Island Council, project, or other public entity concerned, if known.
Describe what happened, who was involved, when and where it occurred, and why you believe the matter should be brought to the attention of the Kiribati Audit Office. Please provide as much factual detail as possible.
Provide the date or approximate period when the matter occurred, if known. For example: March 2026, during 2025, or between January and June 2026.
